My Koko story begins when I told my husband that I was finally ready to look for a personal trainer, after reaching a point of really getting sick of seeing my body in pictures! My son's wedding was in about 5 months, so time was of the essence. I am one of those people who join gyms, go faithfully for about a month, and then rarely go again. I never know if I am doing the machines correctly, etc. This is why I decided to look for a personal trainer. The next day, I noticed a Koko ad on Facebook. I had never clicked on a Facebook ad (and haven't since), but I was very intrigued! I clicked on the ad & signed up for a demo workout. I really liked it & have been hooked ever since! Long story short, I was very happy with the dress I was able to wear to my son's wedding and 4 of my sister's friends have joined Koko after seeing my transformation in the wedding pictures. I also encouraged my family members and other friends to join and they love it as much as I do. More important than my dress size though is the fact that my cholesterol went down 51 points in 5 months. I have drastically cut down the amount of Diet Coke I drink, thanks to one of the best Fit Coach's around - Roxie! She encouraged me to try putting a green tea bag (they have the tea bags by the water cooler in the club) in my Koko water bottle and now I do it all the time. I honestly don't know where I'd be if I did not have Koko Fit Club in my life. I love looking at my page on the website and seeing the total weight I've lifted and how many miles I've of cardio I have completed. It always amazes me - the non-exerciser - to see what I've accomplished! I turn 50 in a few months, in the best shape of my life! Thank you, thank you, Koko! Don't ever leave me!
Seniors can do it too! After 5 years of inactivity due to knees that needed to be replaced, I finally had 2 replacement surgeries & was ready to get back into shape. Fortunately, Koko FitClub was just down the street and in July of 2012 I started my road to fitness at the age of 68. It's been only 4 months and I have achieved my goal weight after losing 17 pounds. My strength has increased by 54%. My Q score started at 25 and is now 51.I was only able to do this because Koko is so much fun that I looked forward to going almost every day. There are no classes or schedules so I could just walk in anytime it was convenient for me. I feel better than I have for 15 years and I'm looking forward to continuing to improve my overall health. An additional perk is that I look better too. Thanks to the manager, Roxie who gives me encouragement & creates a wonderfully positive environment. I'm so grateful to have Koko in Edmond, OK. I'm totally hooked.
I am so excited about Koko and regret that I didn't start this program when I first heard about it. I'd tried the typical gym scene, personal trainers, etc., and HATED it. Koko is a perfect fit for me, a 64-year-old who is diabetic and obese. I've lost many inches--I don't take measurements but I know how my clothes fit--and am enjoying a healthier lifestyle along with much more energy. The staff has been AWESOME! Sessions are short enough to keep from becoming discouraged, and the flash drive keeps me from cheating...as I used to do at a "regular gym." I joined Koko FitClub just after signing up for Weight Watchers Online and chose the Diet Booster Workout Program. My goal was to lose 10 lbs. I was completely dedicated to working out 3 times a week and eating healthy. The best part, I am still able to enjoy my red wine! Within 2 months, I hit my goal weight and continued on with the Diet Booster program. Fast forward 8 months and I’m still losing weight while gaining strength and getting tone. I am down 27lbs and have my figure from 25 years ago, BACK!!! So, let’s talk dress size, I was a size 10, now I am a size 2. Honestly, I did now it was possible but here I am! There is absoultely no way I would achieve what I do at this club ANYWHERE else. Due to work schedules, I'm typically here during unstaffed hours . Over the past few months I've been a member, I've lost over 15 lbs, my blood pressure is lower, and I am looking and feeling better than I have in 10 years! I really, really LOVE KoKo. I joined the minute the Powell, Ohio location opened and I am so glad I did! I have been a gym member for many years but find Koko is the best fit for me. The equipment is great and the visual display is so helpful. Having the performance tracking in place to view is very helpful to me. I am a small business owner with over 130 employees to oversee, caring for mental health diagnosis individuals. As much as I love my clients, staff and job duties, it also creates a significant amount of work time, on-call duties and stress. I find Koko is my "me time" and a major stress reliever. I feel great when I leave and look forward to my next trip. The staff are really knowledgeable, helpful and I appreciate Koko allows me the flexibility of arriving before or after staffed hours due to my work and family schedule.
I am a 42 year old diabetic. When I started Koko FitClub in February of 2012, my diabetes was not doing so well and I was looking at going on insulin instead of medication. My A1C (3 month average of blood sugar) was 9.1 which is an average of 214. Blood sugars should range from 75-124 per my doctor. When I started Koko my weight was 251 pounds and my cholesterol was 297. My waist was 38 inches and my clothes were tight. I was wearing extra-large shirts. It has been six months and I just did my blood work again. My A1C is now at 5.1, which is perfect. That is a 3 month average of 119. My weight is now 203 pounds!! 48 pound weight loss!!!! My cholesterol is now at 198, down into the good range. My waist is 34 inches and shrinking. Not only am I losing weight by staying with Koko, but my energy level is up. I only get tired at night and not during the day like I had been. I could have done some of this without Koko, but without the constant motivation of the Koko staff in Rapid City, SD and the constant encouragement from my family, there is no way I could have done it. Thank you so much Koko for giving my life back and helping show me that with some simple changes and a positive attitude, it is possible to get back the things you love the most.
I just started with Koko, and already I love it. I have 3 kids, so the 30 minute workout is perfect for me. It is an awesome concept... It's like having a personal trainer in my pocket. Hopefully, I will have awesome results to rave about soon!
Koko is transforming my life! I am a person that did not really exercise throughout my 20's and early 30's. I was pretty athletic as a kid and teen, but once in college, I did not really workout at all. I have always been blessed to be thin and usually ate pretty well, but I was one of those people that was "skinny fat" for sure. We all know those people. You know, the ones that look great in clothes and by all physical appearances look and seem healthy, but when tested for BMI, or physical fitness, you find that they are actually just as out of shape as an obese person. That was me. Well, after I had my son at age 32, and in the years that followed (and I really noticed at around age 36) I was getting worse, waaay out of shape and my body just started looking gross. I was officially overweight. I had severely more fat than muscle and it was starting to show. And I was tired all the time. So, finally this year at age 39, I was at my wits end and saw they were opening a Koko within walking distance from my home. So, I googled Koko FitClub, went to the site, watched the video online and I was sold. I never liked gyms! Always would have loved to have a personal trainer to show me what to do and give me goals! For a single, professional Mother with little time to do anything for myself, this sounded perfect. A 30 minute workouts? A machine that shows you what to do? Earn points!? Come on! I for sure can do that! This was THE place for me! So, I went in the following Monday and Josh and Natalie were there. They were both SO friendly, so non-judgmental and just two of the nicest people I had met. I signed up right then. The next morning I came back for my first strength test and from that point forward, I was there 6 days a week doing both strength and cardio. I had to create the habit and I was hooked. Addicted. A KokoNut!! I lost 11 pounds quickly and became 58% stronger! I was feeling better than I had felt in years, and started noticing my posture was better, and I literally felt stronger, more confident and healthier than I had been since I was 18 years old. I even joked with Natalie, a few weeks later, saying that I noticed in my bathroom mirror one day, that I looked like I workout! I look like those people!! We laughed and quipped that I could now strut around saying, "Yeah I workout..... I lifted 7,920 pounds today." :-) Anyway, my final and biggest piece of this testimonial is this: exactly a month after I joined Koko, on June 25, 2012, I got a call at 11pm that night that my Father had been killed in a car accident in Arizona, while travelling on a business trip. It was at this point that Koko literally saved me mentally, physically and emotionally. My Father and I were very close and this is obviously the most tragic thing that I have experienced in my 39 years of life. We all know the benefits that exercise has on people physically, mentally and emotionally...but this is when I noticed the huge benefit it truly had on me mentally and emotionally. The day after I received that tragic news, when there was nothing I could do except sit and wait for more information, I went to Koko. Completely in a daze and completely stunned since hearing of my Father's death. But I knew I had to go do something to put some normalcy in my day. And since I had created such a habit during the past month of going to Koko every day, it just seemed like the most natural thing to do. I walked in feeling so tight, every muscle in my body, so tense. And after 30 mins on the strength trainer, I literally felt a little better, still dealing with everything obviously, but much better than when I walked in the door. My head was clearer, and my muscles were relieved of some tension. I literally felt as though I had a little massage. From working out!! So, to make a long story short, without Koko, and the benefits of exercise that it has had on my mind, emotions and body, I am not sure where I would be today after the last month that I have had. Koko has literally saved my life emotionally and I'm sure physically in ways that I have not even seen yet. It helped me to remain strong enough to deal with everything and to keep my spirits up. THANK YOU Koko!!! You have literally changed my life!!! I wake up every day thinking, "what time can I make it to Koko today?" THANK YOU!!

I have a hereditary condition called Lynch Syndrome (pretty rare, so no one knows what this is - you can google it :). As a result of this condition, I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 1992 at the age of 26. I'm also at a high risk for other cancers including endometrial and ovarian. To avoid getting those cancers, I had a preventative complete hysterectomy in November 2011. I've never had a big issue with weight and because of that, haven't been compelled to work out consistently. However, over the winter, I started experiencing more rapid weight gain (about 10 pounds in a matter of months) and my body was very slow in recovering from the surgery. The final straw was in March 2012 when my husband, daughter and I visited my brother and his family in Colorado. They wanted to go on a fairly short, easy hike...I could barely make it! One Saturday shortly after returning home, I received an ad in the mail for the newly opened Koko FitClub in our town. The indvidualized program, flexible hours, and short workout times instantly appealed to me. Thinking back to that hike the month before, I decided then and there to schedule a demo. I joined the club the very next day and have been regularly working out for over 4 months now. In the first 3 months I've experienced a 38% strength gain...amazing results for someone that couldn't even walk up stairs without getting winded. My main goal upon joining Koko was to improve my physical condition for an upcoming trip to Colorado with my daughter's church youth group. I knew that there would be hiking involved and I did not want a repeat of the March hike! I am happy to say that I was able to hike and keep up with 18 high school kids for an entire week. I work in the IT industry and have a very irregular schedule - 24x7 on-call, so I have a lot of trouble doing anything on a regular basis. For some reason though I can find time to go to Koko, probably because it is the one thing I do not have to plan - everything is layed out for me.

I've been using Koko for about 4 months and seeing excellent results. I was initially concerned about the requirement to sign up for a year, but now I'm glad I did it. I've worked out for years on my own ... researching which exercises to do and how much weight to use. Over the years I did this on my own I did not experience the excellent results that I've experienced using the Koko Smartraining machines. I am now at a weight I haven't seen since I was in my early 30s back in the late 80s - and my muscle mass is very visibly increasing as is my strength and endurance. If you eat right and exercise on the Koko Smartrainers 3 times a week you WILL see weight loss and muscle gain. I wholeheartedly recommend Koko.

I found Koko to be very inspirational and motivating. I was hesitant to join yet another gym in my life so I joined up for the 3 month session. Work keeps me pretty busy, so I figured I'd try it and was sure that I would do as I always did... make an excuse that I didn't have the time. Well when my 3 months runs out I WILL become a full member for sure. I find it fits into my life quite nicely and find that if I don't go for a day that I am missing out or cheating myself out of something. I try to go daily as you are in and out with a structured workout. I plug in my key and I have my personal program ready to go. This is the perfect workout for a busy person and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. I feel stronger and healthier that I have in a long time. If you are considering joining a gym it is worth every penny and minute of your day!
The strength training at Koko is deceptively "a** kicking". You wouldn't think that doing 6 reps of anything at a weight that seems way to light would be doing any good at all. The difference is keeping the "bar in the box". It doesn't let you get away with "cheating" by using momentum to lift the weight and gravity to put it back down. And when it comes to the day after my workout, it's easy to see why only 30 minutes is sufficient when you train at Koko. Any longer and I might have a problem getting out of bed!

I've been a Koko Nut for about three months now, and words can't really explain how much I love it. I have never been able to stay motivated to work out on a consistent basis, but now I have (as the sign at Koko says) become that annoying person who says, "I love to work out," and actually means it! I've always used an elliptical machine at my house, but I had no idea what an amazing workout you can get on an elliptical until Michael Wood got ahold of me! My legs and glutes are constantly sore - in a GOOD way! I haven't lost a ton of weight yet (probably because I like unhealthy foods too much!), but my body composition is most definitely changing, and that has resulted in the loss of almost 2 full clothing sizes. I'm seeing more muscle definition and feeling more energetic. The SmarTrainer workouts are tough, but extremely satisfying when you make it through. I'm on my 16th perfect workout, and getting that perfect score is a great source of motivation for me. Love the owner and staff at the Farragut club - those ladies are the best! It's definitely an encouraging, positive, atmosphere free from the posturing and intimidation you find at typical gyms. If you haven't joined yet, DO IT.

Joined Koko in Feb 2012 to get healthy and have better control of my type 2 diabetes. Started at 184 lbs and a BMI of 28. After 80 days of watching my food intake and 4-5 days of Koko smart training each week, I have lost 23 lbs down to 161 lbs and a BMI of 24.5. I am a true KOKO Nut!! I joined in September 2011, and I LOVE it! I had gained about 25lbs within a year (thanks Grad School) and when I had to buy my first size 10 pants, I knew I needed to do something, I saw a Groupon and thought why not try it. Just a few months later, I am now back to my goal weight (125lbs) and went from squeezing into a size 8 to a size 2! Now that I've hit my goal weight and am not seeing the results on the scale anymore, the strength tests and seeing my stength gains are keeping me motivated! Not to mention seeing my name all over the leader board too. Last summer I told my husband I had accepted the fact that I would never wear a bikini again (I was 27). Last week he reminded me of a pool party we're attending and said we should start looking for a suit now; for the first time in years I didn't cringe, I'm actually looking forward to the party to show off all my hard work...and my hard abs. I cannot say enough GREAT things about my FitClub experience! The 1st day I met with them for a "tour", I was sold. "Sign me up, now"! I literally cannot wait for the end of my workday, so I can get to the club. It's non competitive, personal, with a low-key, friendly & encouraging atmosphere! 1 year ago I made one of the best decisions of my life! I requested a membership to the new Koko FitClub down the block! (How convenient is that?) Having been recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I was looking for an exercise program that would allow me to regain the energy I was lacking and motivate me to move! 370 days, 240 strength sessions and 305 cardio sessions later, I am 63% stronger and working towards my blue lanyard! I LOVE to work out and I LOVE the way Koko challenges me to stay on pace and motivates me to strive for continuous improvement! The friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and the peaceful atmosphere enhance the Koko experience! I am proud to be a Kokonut!!
I spent 5 years overseas with the Navy and was discharged for injuring my knee. I sat around and gained 40 pounds. I was turned on to Koko by my father who thought I would enjoy it. I DID! I have been with Koko for 154 days and I am back under 200 pounds for the first time in 3 years. The daily PT in the Navy is nothing compared to what I have gain at Koko. I love it and plan to stick with it for a long time coming.

We. John and Debi Craner, joined the Koko FitClub in Burley in January 2011 and have been regulars ever since. We have both lost 15 lbs. in the last year and feel great. In fact. I am sitting at my desk today about 10:30 when my wife calls and asks if I can take the afternoon off and take her skiing. I did! We had a great time. Beautiful sunny day, 11 runs, no crashes, no broken bones and we feel wonderful. Why is this our Koko Story? The last time we went skiing was in January 2005 and we were both beat at the end of the day. Seriously, we though it was time to hang up the skis for good. My knees and Debi's back ached for weeks. But not after today! Thanks Michael Wood and KOko FitClub for keeping us active. We thought we were too old to ski anymore and tonight we are planning our next ski trip. Park City here we come!

I joined Koko when they opened their Club in McKinney Tx. Jeremy and Jenee' are fabulous. They are exteremly helpful to their clients. I have 2 young boys that keep me chasing them - but, I have not been able to work out consistently since before I was pregnant (over 6 years ago). Koko has been a lifesaver!! I could never find the time to go to they gym, but have been able to squeeze in the 30 min at least 4 times a week!! And, I love the KokoPoints. Makes it almost seem a bit like a game!!!
I have to confess I was a bit apprehensive at first of the Koko program. I've been weight training for years using mostly free weights and lifting really heavy. I was loosing motivation and I quit seeing results with my workouts. I was confused as to what exercises I should be performing and how to pace my workouts. I have TOTALLY changed my mind and attitude. I'm now happy to say joining Koko has been one of the best choices I have ever made. I've seen more results in just my first 9 sessions than I had been seeing in a week or two with my old workouts. It's an exciting new challenge. The timed workouts are perfect for me and the hours of operation are perfect for my work schedule. I have to confess the cardio aspect is kicking my butt, but in a good way. I love the ability to track my progress and to be able to see my upcoming workouts. Like I said before,joing Koko has been a awesome choice.

I highly recommend Koko FitClub to anyone who wants a fast, easy and convenient way to work out, relieve stress and become more fit. KoKo is like having a personal traner with you at all times while you work out. The cardio equipment is equipped with I-pods so you can work to a specific program of your choice that instructs and motivates while you work out. I usually stop by on my way home from work "all stressed out" and arrive home after Koko, relaxed and stress free. I am so glad I joined Koko FitClub of Acton.

This is a great idea! Love this place, love the pace of the programs. That being said, I do wish that when the cardio programs are changed that the new routines are peppered-in slowly while keeping some of the older routines. I have never liked working out. In college I only entered the gym to blow off steam maybe once a month. I knew I wanted to be in shape though and I needed something different than my personal trainer sister-inlaw would advocate (she's into pushing yourself till you cry and feel like jello). Koko was everything I was looking for and more. My body is more toned now than ever before and I lost weight after my first month! Still going strong and loving it!
3 months w Koko and it has been the perfect compliment to my Weight Watchers eating regiment! I have lost that pesky 14.8 lbs., my triglycerides have dropped from 194 to 57 and I am even sleeping better. I have been exercising all my life and was frankly bored with the whole process. Koko takes the guess work out, keeps me on track and lets me look back on my progress. I don't have to think about anything, I just have to do it! I love the learning portion I get from Michael Woods and can hear his voice in my ear repeating his tips throughout my daily life. I love the different paths you can choose from and know of no other trainers that have that variety. The future of personal training is here and it is Koko. I was involved in a very serious car accident, where I had to re-learn how to walk, talk, and eat. As a mother of 3 who works full time, my life is scheduled down to the minute. Koko FitClub's 15 & 30 minute workouts guarantee I can get a workout in every day. The system is genius. Nothing to think about just show up and do it. No waiting while others rest on machines. The spa-like atmosphere. All of that would be enough to make me happy, but on top of all that I absolutely love and enjoy every second of the workouts. I used to go to my "traditional" gym 2-3 times a week. It was a struggle to force myself to go every time. With Koko it's a breeze to come 5 days a week, because I actually WANT to go. I sleep better. I'm challenged but never leave in pain or too tired to come back the next day. It's the best thing I've done for myself. Thanks Koko Needham!

I cannot tell you how great it felt to get a "perfect workout"'! Pretty much since adulthood I had lost my interest and motivation in keeping fit. A couple years ago I was at my highest weight ever. So I got a gym membership and tried many diets, I managed to lose about 65 pounds in the those two years but never really felt fit or strong. I really just lost the weight for other people, not because I wanted to but because others wanted me to. Since I have been at Koko I finally feel STRONG and HEALTHY! I have a new self-confidence! I know I still I have more weight to lose but I actually feel motivated and very interested in being fit and healthy. I feel like a competetive person, like when I was a kid, with all the energy and stamina. On vacation I climbed dunes, hiked through waterfalls and rode horseback! Looking great has never been this EASY!! If your the person that walks in to your gym standing there looking at a machine for 20 minutes before you get what it is your supposed to do then walk out and find the nearest Koko fit club location.
Koko has brought me back to life! It has truly become very personal experience for me. I am very shy and have never been one for the gym scene. Everyone at the club has been great! Very helpful, friendly, and encouraging! I look forward to every visit. I am on my way to a black lanyard and have just earned my first perfect workout. I love my T-Shirt! I am hooked! I had a great doctor’s appointment this week... After 16 years of having high cholesterol, high blood pressure and being pre-diabetic, I am no-more. Diet alone did a lot of good, but it took the addition of strenuous workouts to bring everything together. The KOKO plan is perfect. The KOKO nutrition tips are the same as what I have been following for the past 2 years, which has become a way of life.
I started Koko almost a year ago while recovering from a recent knee surgery. My initial goal was to work my way back into "road race" form, to run the Falmouth Road Race this year (7 miles). I recently met that goal, finishing in 1 hour 5 minutes, only 5 minutes longer than my previous record I set when I was 21 years old, (half the age I am now). Next year I'm going to break my personal record... Thanks Koko for the inspiration and motivation!

I joined KOKO a little over a year ago with the goal to lose weight. I was unsuccessful in my attempt to loose weight. Needless to say, I did not loose weight, but my clothes fit better and I have noticed my "beer belly" has decreased...Alot. My energy level has also increased. I continue to see the results to this day. Bottom line, I'm happy with the results I've experienced so for. May not be the results I wanted, but its the results I needed. If that makes any sense at all. One more thing, the Staff is excellent. I'm proud to be a member have no doubts I will be a member for a long time.

OK, so I researched koko over and over on the internet for about 4 months. I email the owner, Chris Lucas, who promptly answers my questions. I want to join, but will I stay motivated? So I join on Tuesday the 23rd. Chris does a strength test on me which is the first step toward the personalized program. Wednesday the 24th I come back. Chris supports me while I complete my 30 min. personalized workout in 36 min. He is totally there for me yet lets me do the steps myself to learn. I am impressed with the smart trainer. It shows me exactly what to do, then tells me how well I did! And it is so easy to learn. Ok, Thursday the 25th, day 3. Can't wait to get there and score higher on that trainer! Chris and I are the only ones there at that time. He allows me to go through the exercises myself, I only have to ask for help with one I'm not familiar with. He is there for me but he does not hover. I complete my workout in 31 min. Each exercise gives you a % of how well you performed. I can't wait to come back tomorrow to beat the last percentage and get down to 30 min even. Motivation!!! Stay tuned!
I wrote a few months back when I had lost 37lbs but now a year later I am down 55lbs, my blood sugar and cholesterol were recently greatly improved (no more pre- diabetes) and I have cut my Bp medicine in half. As great as those accomplishments are, I am most excited to report that I ran in my 1st 5k - finishing in 39 minutes (32:36 for age adjusted time). Running up the hill to the finish line, I focused on Michael Wood's encouragement that I had heard 100s of times during the cardio elliptical workouts and knew I could do it for just a minute more! Thanks to Koko I am in the best health that I have been in a long time and look forward to continuing this trend!

I've been on a 13 year quest for health riddled with hundreds of doctor's appointments and prescriptions that failed to give me any real hope of wellness. I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and after starting new meds and a firm recommendation for regular exercise, I was able to begin a consistent 3-4 days/week workout routine at Koko. In a little more than 2 months, I've lost 14 pounds and a full size (almost 2) in my clothes! I haven't been able to lose more than 2 lbs. in the past 12 years so this is substantial and truly a breakthrough. I have more energy and vibrancy in my life than I have since I was a teenager and I am turning 40 this year. Thank you, Koko for making this quest for health a reality. I love the variety in the workouts and the convenience of being able to come at any time of the day or night.

It has been just over 6 weeks since I joined Koko and I'm so glad that I did. I've never felt comfortable in your average gym. I enjoyed working out at home, but found it difficult to maintain a consistent routine. Koko is perfect for me! The atmosphere is friendly and inviting and the point system and staff keep you motivated to do at least 3 strength and cardio sessions each week. I can’t stop telling everyone I know about Koko. Via Koko Rocks.. Dec. 5 I just had a bone density test and I have REVERSED my Osteoperosis! I've been coming to Koko for 4 years and that did it. I am even off Fosomax! (I only have Osteopenia in my hip now.)

My husband, Steve, and I have tried for years to find something that would motivate us and keep us on track with diet and exercise. We start out ok, but quickly lose interest because we saw little or no results. I tried Koko on a Groupon, just on a whim. It was the best decision I ever made! My husband and I both joined the new Walpole FitClub and love it. I look forward to going every day, something completely new to me. I was the person who went to the gym, did the treadmill, wandered around the weight room doing some exercises, took a few classes here and there. Pembroke, Mass - Member Allen U and FitCoach Matt continue their epic battle for perfect session supremacy. While they have been neck and neck of late, Matt has recently taken a 20-18 lead in total perfect sessions. When recently asked about his current lead, Matt responded, "I don't take it for granted at all. Al always has an eye on the Leaderboard and has been a member eight months longer than myself. I'm happy to have taken the lead, but he still has me in total Koko points, and he's not going anywhere." When it comes to total Koko points Allen does have a convincing lead, more than doubling Matt's total. Even if Matt continues his perfect lead, it would take a herculean effort and a considerable amount of time to capture the lead in points. When asked about falling behind Matt in the perfect session race, Allen explained: "I found myself under the weather for a little while, and I have to give Matt credit, he seized the opportunity." In terms of how Allen plans to regain the lead, he joked: "Avoiding Smartrainer No. 3 is the first step. It's always something with that machine. We don't get along." Allen then took a more serious tone. "It all comes down to consistency. I'll keep putting in my time and as long as we're both working out here, it's going to be a close battle." While Matt and Allen continue their battle, they still have a long way to go before they are even in the discussion with some of Koko's other long-time members. Matt touched upon those members briefly by stating: "It really is amazing what they have been able to do, the amount of focus, time, consistency. They're the ones who should be getting the attention. It is remarkable." Here's to you Koko goers. Consistency is a remarkable thing and you are remarkable!

Getting your bum into the gym is tough. Knowing what to do once you're there? Impossible. Solution? Koko FitClub. Sure, it's in a strip mall and its a chain. Forget everything that means for you. This is totally different than any gym you've ever belonged to. I know, I've done them all! (I move too much, don't judge!) The staff is genuinely interested in your success. But more than that it's impossible to fail. Once you're in the door? You can't go wrong. So all you have to do is put down your latte and walk in. After that Koko takes over. The smart trainer program grabs your timid little hand and walks you through moment by moment on the weights. No more moving machine to machine. You just grab a machine, plug in your Koko key and voila your personalized workout begins. The pros set the program, you set the range and personalize the moves to your strength once and suddenly you're off and running! Think cardio is boring and tedious - oh good me too. Luckily trainers have set programs and you listen to them as they talk you through EACH and EVERY minute of your cardio work. Did I mention that the strength is 30 minutes and the cardio is only 15 minutes?! Yeah. You wanna join.

I needed a 30 min workout before work and Koko FitClub hit the spot. I have a custom workout program just for me. I'm losing weight and feeling more alert at work. Highly recommend.
Fitness has always played a roll in my life. I joined my first gym at 17 and have never looked back - until I had kids. I had my first at 28 and then my son at 30. Between pregnancies I would try to lose the baby weight. We had a full gym in the basement, I tried shredding and pilates. I stayed active during my pregnancies, but still was frustrated at how my body looked a year after each child was born. I picked up running and would run 5-10 kilometers 4 or 5 times a week. But no matter how often or how far I ran, it never did the trick. Then I joined Koko Fit Club in July 2010. At first I was just in love with the schedule. Forty-five minutes 3 times a week? No problem! I could easy fit that into my busy schedule as a working mom of 2. I could squeeze workouts in before the kids got up in the morning, or between soccer games on the weekend. It was easy. Within 2 months I started to see a real change in my body. Old muscles were returning, and there were some that I had never seen in 15 years of working out on my own!! Triceps for crying out loud! I realized that it was the comprehensiveness of the program that was having the biggest impact. I wasn't just working on my "favorite" muscles (we all tend to focus on a few - for me it was bicep, calves, abs) - I was forced to work on ALL of them. What a concept! I've now been a member for a year and have been pretty consistent in my commitment (save the odd cold or trip that kept me away for a week or two). I still love going. I love the challenge and I look forward to my next strength test. Right now my score is 93 and that is the second highest female in the club. I'm proud of that. Last weekend I participated in a mini-triathlon with my daughter and the photographer took the included photo of us running to the bikes. I am a 33 year old mother of 2 and I can honestly say that my body has never looked better. THANK YOU KOKO FIT!
